Privacy statement OKayks
This is the privacy statement of OKayks, located at Printerweg 7 (3821AP) in Amersfoort. If after reading this you still have questions about your privacy, you can always contact us at email@example.com.
When ordering something and concluding a contract with us, we need certain (personal) data from you in order to ensure that we can deliver your order. Personal data is all data relating to you as a person. We will always handle your personal data with care.
What personal data
OKayks processes the following categories of personal data:

- Account details, including your password and username (passwords are stored encrypted and are not visible to employees!)

- Day of birth and/or other personal important day;

Basis of processing
According to the AVG, we must have good reasons (‘grounds’) for processing personal data. OKayks maintains the following bases:
- Legal obligation;
- Execution of agreement;
- Obtained (explicit) consent from data subjects;
- Legitimate interest.
When providing the services of OKayks personal data is processed. OKayks only processes data that we consider necessary to improve our services. We are careful with the (personal) data we have collected about you and your use of our services. The basis for the data processing is the agreement you concluded with us. We may also process your personal data by visiting the website www.OKayks.nl, if you have given us permission to do so.
Necessity of processing
Without complete personal data, we cannot fully process and deliver orders. Therefore, the processing of your personal data is necessary for us to provide the service. If explicit permission is required for a specific purpose relating to your personal data, we will ask for this separately.

Period of storage
Of course OKayks adheres to the relevant laws and regulations with respect to the processed personal data. If a longer retention period is necessary based on law or regulations, the personal data will be kept longer in accordance with these requirements. We will not keep all (obtained) personal data longer than strictly necessary.
OKayks will only share personal data with third parties if this is strictly necessary for the execution of an agreement and to comply with relevant laws and regulations. No personal data will be sold. OKayks may have a legal obligation to share personal data with third parties. If personal data is shared with third parties, processing agreements will be made. The third parties with whom personal data is shared are:
- The delivery service, since otherwise we cannot deliver the products. The category of personal data processed is contact and name and address data.
- The accountant, for the purpose of executing an agreement. The category of personal data that are processed are contact and name and address details and financial data.
- For sending newsletters we use the mail program MailPoet. The category of personal data that is processed is the e-mail address and contact and name and address details.
Security of personal data
OKayks is committed to the protection of your personal data and takes the state of technology, the implementation costs, the nature, scope, context and processing purposes into account, as well as the likelihood and severity of the various risks to the rights and freedoms of individuals, appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a risk-adjusted level of security. The security measures we have taken are explained here:
- Your password is not stored and can only be checked when you log in.
- Internet traffic to and from the website is encrypted
- Digital communication with partners, such as delivery drivers, is encrypted
- Customer and delivery details are confirmed via e-mail to the customer. If the receiving mail server supports encryption, this is used automatically.
- All personal data is stored in locked rooms on the cloud to which only authorized staff have access
